or not – Weekly Photo Challenge| Spring in Purple
As many of you know, I went looking for Spring the other day and I found some signs of it. Spring officially arrives today at 7:21 p.m. EDT. There is nothing bugging me today!
Today I’m bringing you signs of spring in purple, one of my favourite colours.
Weekly Photo Challenge | Spring in Purple
Last night I decided to see how many other bloggers posted yellow flowers for the Weekly Photo Challenge and these are the ones I found. Enjoy!

The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another.
The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.

How beautiful this purple. I like it.I didn’t know that many bloggers posted yellow flowers.
I will think of a good idea about spring thanks to this post. 💡
Thanks Cocomino, most of the flowers are daffodils but there are other different ones and I’m sure you will come up with a great idea for your photo post. 🙂
Beautiful. I may have to enter this challenge too… although, I am signed up for so many I don’t want to overload myself. It is a good excuse to go for a walk with the camera though 😉 You write well and take beautiful photos — multitalented!
Thanks Indigo, You only have to post a photo once a week, although some of us do more than one sometimes.
It is a good reason to take a nice walk in the fresh spring air. 🙂
Beautiful, I like it.
Thanks Summerfield. 🙂
Amen for spring!!
Hi Marge, you’ve got that right! 🙂
Beautiful! Thanks, Rose
Thanks Nancy. 🙂
Beautiful, Rose! Thanks for brightening my day with purple!
Hi Shell, glad you like the colour. It’s a nice soft shade of purple. 🙂
Happy first day of spring! The flowers are lovely. 🙂
Thanks Gina, now that it’s arrived on the calendar, hopefully you will see it soon too! 🙂
The crocus is another delicate looking flower that I love, especially the purple ones! Love this one Rose!
Thanks Barb, I snapped whatever little bit of colour I found the other day. You can see from the surroundings, the rest was mostly shades of brown. 🙂
Your snowdrops may not be blooming, but this is definitely spring!! Thanks for visiting my blog… I’m enjoying yours!
Hi KC, thanks for stopping by. The snowdrops are just hanging there waiting to pop open. I need to go back and take another look. 🙂
Thanks for the pingback. How did you find only blogs with yellow flowers – by search terms or did you just look at them all?
Yours are lovely, BTW. Nothing says spring like crocuses.
Thanks and you’re welcome Huffygirl, I went through all the posts tagged with weekly photo challenge. That’s why you just got a Like with no comment. It took me some time to do that last night.
I’m waiting for the forsythia bushes to start flowering now. 🙂
Although Spring is on the horizon, crocusses, tulips, daffodils are not yet peeking out of the ground here. Love your images her, soothes my soul to see such delicate signs of new life.
walk in beauty.
Thanks Joss, the gardens are slowly coming alive with colour. Hopefully you will start seeing some colour soon. March is always a tricky month, April will be here before we know it. 🙂
Stunning flowers Rose. We are in Autumn here so things are turning brown & dying off for the coming winter
Thanks Tony, I’ve seen enough brown and I’m ready for plenty of colour. 🙂
Lovely pics Rose, the crocuses show such hope. They always seem a little out of proportion to me, such big heads and such thin stems but they battle it out with the frost, wind and rain and put a smile on my face.
Thanks Marcia, we’ve still been having frost at night. Spring is just teasing us right now. 🙂
I like the winter leaves as a backdrop to the crocuses. They remind me of moving from one season to the next 🙂
Hi PiP, that’s exactly as I found them and I liked the touch they added too. 🙂
