I Am Who I Am

I am who I am!

Mother of a loving, beautiful daughter attending university. That’s her cat in my profile, only it’s mine now. My Christmas present last year, all the way from Vancouver. After having the cat for a year, she realized she wasn’t home enough with school, library and work to properly give the cat the love and attention she needed. The cat is with me now and I enjoy having her, probably one of the best Christmas presents ever – but I still refer to her as my daughter’s cat.

Oh, her name is Talia, the cat, not my daughter.

You’re going to have come back and pay me another visit to find out more about me.

Update January 17, 2011

I’ve changed my theme this weekend and finally getting around to doing my housekeeping chores on my blog. I’m adding new pages, organizing my links and I will add more to this page so you can find out a little bit more about me. 🙂

Would love to know what you think of the new theme. 🙂

Leave me a comment and I promise I will read it and respond as long as you are a genuine blogger.

    hi Rosemary,

Wow, you made a good job of that one. That was well written. I suspect if they see it you may get banned from them because they would be pretty sure it was them you are talking about. 🙂
They do say too, in their rules that will ban us without explanation, so I guess it’s a risk we take, but you are so right.

I don’t like the articles that are being screened and passed that don’t even make sense!! You can tell they have just been other articles spun around in software to slightly change the way the words are written.

Just makes gibberish of the article. Sheer stupidity.
    Wrecks a good program too.

Anyway, you are going well, Rosemary so I will leave in your capable hands, and bless you muchly for your courage and strength of purpose.

      Thank you Danella,

I don`t mention them by name, there are other sites, I have been rejecting articles, I have also given a lot of lower ratings, but really haven’t done a lot of it since the weekend when my article took 32 hours to clear the screening room. Then I published an article as American and it took around 15 hours, it was pretty quiet and not a lot of people online.

When I went online this morning and saw that the article on the mine disaster in NZ still needed just one more reading, I could not believe it. That’s when this blog got started.

I will do what I can to try and make it a better place for everyone. I just can’t understand why members screen selective articles. There are a lot of them, and if I can somehow identify who it is, I will no longer screen them.

Anyhow, thanks again for your friendship and support. I don’t like to see anyone being treated this way.

I am so ignorant. I have no idea what “screening” articles is all about. I am not asking for an explanation, I will find out soon enough I am sure. Everyday I learn a little bit more.

Hi – I’m Jenny Cutler – a friend of Julie Bryant. She suggested I contact you. So far I LOVE what you write. I’m a closet Grumpy Old Woman as well – because it’s such a positive thing to be. Who else is going to save the teenagers from being tripped up by their stupid jeans with the crotch at their knees – or the silly girls from being ‘run over’ by their mobiles – as many are. They’ve just stopped looking for cars, haven’t they!

I will send you an email about how I would like to make a bid for your, clearly very competent, help and advice over starting a blog. JC – I have struggled too long and unlike Julie, I am incapable of staying up until 3 am !

Thank you so much, Jenny. I am so glad you enjoy the blog. I’m pretty new at this too but I look forward to your email and will reply to you. 🙂
