or not – Weekly Photo Challenge | Abundance

My contribution to this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge.

Parasailing at Cape Hatteras

ClassyRose, RandomBlog2011, PostADay2011, PostAWeek2011, Weekly Photo Challenge,

Without an abundance of air and wind this wouldn't stay up long.

This was the first time my daughter and I went parasailing.

It was such a wonderful feeling and experience being
up so high in the sky with nothing else around.

Are you taking part in the Weekly Photo Challenge?

Welcome Kamakshi, aah, I hate when that happens.

My daughter was more than willing to do it with me, if not I would have just let her watch me.

You’ve got a great photo, interesting take on the word abundance. 🙂

That’s what I would like to do next. I’m glad it gave you another idea. 🙂

Parasailing, eh? It looks like fun, but, since I am afraid of heights…especially with nothing but air between me and the ground…I think I’ll leave it as a spectator sport 🙂 Lovely pic, rose.

    • February 26, 2011 at 11:44 PM

Thanks Sandra, that was the best part of it.

Just hanging in the air and moving with the wind. Do you have a photo for this week? 🙂

Amazing photo Rose. The photo caption sounds like a group of politicians…

    • February 27, 2011 at 12:00 AM

Thanks Tony, I’m not a politician and I try to avoid the subject matter. 🙂

Beautiful shot Rose, but you would never get me up there; I like my feet on the ground! You are very brave!

Thanks Barb, why not? It’s such a great feeling.

Think of it as a challenge and give it shot. You’ll never know unless you try it. 🙂

Great photo Rose! You would not get me up there for a million Euros!

Seriously? At first, I never thought I would but once I got up, just hanging there, I was so glad I did.

Having done this at Cape Hatteras it was over the Atlantic Ocean.

      Thanks PiP 🙂

Love this photo Rose, especially since I’m hanging on Hatteras Island this week! It’s too chilly for the parasailers, but the wind and kite surfers are on the bay.

    • February 27, 2011 at 12:50 PM

Hi Shell, I envy you, I would love to be there but when it’s warmer.

Hatteras Island is one of my favourite places to camp and worth every minute of the 16-hour drive. 🙂
